After that I came back to campus for a bit. Got home on Monday and left for Pakistan on Friday. On the way to Pakistan we had a layover in London for 24 hours. We got to see big ben and all those cool places. We couldn't find Buckingham palace though :( We were told that we were like right down the street from it but I don't know. We also got to see everyone celebrating right after their rugby team won the world championship! They were so crazy. It was great! On the way back we also had another huge layover in London. We got to connect with people we met the first time. Such sweet people. They were actually from Columbia and Italy but now live there. They took us in and fed and us and loved on us.
When we were in Pakistan we worked with a church there. It was so great. My heart is in the middle east. I want to reach the muslim nations. We were there during the end of Ramazan and during Eid. Eid is like a couple day long thanksgiving. I was hoping to see more of what the holidays were like but most of the time we were just working with the Christians there. It is so weird to think they have so much persecution over there because I did not see any of it. I know it is there though. The family we stayed with there have become my Pakistani family. I love them so much. When we were leaving I didn't want to hug the guys good bye because I knew that they don't touch women more then a hand shake kind of thing but one of them looked at me and he was like, "Hey! Your my sister, I can hug you!" And then both my Pakistani brother's gave me a big hug :) I miss it so much there. I have already been to the Pakistan restuarant here in town twice because I have to have a peice of it. Some day I'll be living in the middle east :)
Well, I have to go study. Lots of test making up to do! YAY! I get to go home on Friday! I haven't seen home since Aug. Some that may sound like such a short time but I have never been gone that long :)
Merry Christmas Everyone!
