20 days. 20 days! It has been 20 days since I updated!

I have an excuse, lol! I was out of the country for 7 of those days. Before that I was preparing to leave the country. And since, I have been catching up with being back in this country.

I went to Mexico last week. It was an amazing trip. I went down with my youth group and another church's youth group. While there we stayed at one church and worked on another. We dug and redug a ditch (the first one was in the wrong place), sheet-rocked the inside of the church, wrapped and stuckoed the outside of the church, worked on the bathroom (now they have a shower and flushable toilet), built a dog house, and did so many other construction things that I can't remember them and put on a Children's program.

I have so many stories about this trip that I could talk about but I don't have time for them all! The pastor's family though, were the most amazing people I have ever met.

I found out that the pastor living on $50 a week. That is it. At the end of the week we brought him and his family a while bunch of food that we had left over. He didn't realize we were giving it to him. He wound up coming up to our translator and asking if he could have a couple packs of pasta and some sauce. Man, how humbling! That alone was heart breaking to me. When Michael told him it was ALL for him he got so excited! He kept saying, "Gloria Dios! Gloria Dios!" Which means, "Praise God! Praise God!" I later found out that when he had gotten all the money for the construction supply he had put his month's salary in with that money. He had no money and did not know how he was going to feed his family. How awesome is God! How faithful He is. How awesome that Pastor is. Later that day I walked in the church/pastor's house and saw his family sitting down and each had a huge plate of pasta! Hehe :D God is so good.

We had 2 people on our trip get sick. One was throwing up for 5 hours. Man, that poor girl. I felt so bad for her. The other one was having horrible morning sickness! Ha! My Angela is pregnant! Don't worry, she is one of our leaders. We're praying big time for this baby because her last one was a miscarrage. It was great though, they didn't want to tell us she was pregnant but she was soo grouchy and soo sick that they knew they had to tell us. She would up having to go home early because she was so bad but once they got her back in the states they took her to the hospital and everything went okay. Praise God.

My brother got a wonderful girlfriend out of the experiance :D She was our devo leader and is one of the sweetest people. She is so adorable too! And she knows how to Hula dance! ;) lol.

Oh, I realized on this trip that I don't have feelings for Steven any more. Now I just look at him purely as a friend. I believe that God made it for me that way. Since he knows that I can't be with him. He is still an awesome friend.

I want to keep writting about my trip but this would get so long! I better go now :D God bless you all and it is good to be back and writting!
