My cousin is in the army and is a heavy weapons mechanic. I am praying he was not one that was captured because the people captured are people who do the same thing he does. I'm on pins and needles today. My aunt didn't come to church today, so I don't know how things are with her. I'm sure not so good. Mom said she (my aunt) has tried not to watch the news but she can't help but turn it on once in awhile. I hope this ends soon. I hope our POWs make it home safe. They said that the Iraqi's showed a video of the people captured. 4 Americans were on the ground dead...God, I'm scared. During dessert storm I didn't know what was going on because I was so young. Now I know to much. We need prayers!
The people in my church are going through a lot right now. One of my Jr High girls is struggling with a friend who is really into witch craft. Scary stuff. One of our Sr. Highers is living with some people in our church right now because his Mom hit him and was tearing apart his room. Plus we have my cousin and 2 others over in Kuwait and Iraq fighting. And thats just the small amount that I really know about.
Praise God for his greatness. Praise him for his mercy and love.
