I got to hang out with some college girls that have been coming to my church. We went out to lunch. It was different. I'm not used to that yet. I still feel like I'm in highschool because half the seniors in high school I have met are older then me!
I also started choir today and it was interesting. Not what I was thinking. We'll see how it goes though. I hope our church can start getting more into worship.
Jr High night was cool. Played ultimate freesby and had a bunch of laughs. We are coming up with some awesome things to do with our Jr Highers. Its exciting.
I had this vision during church today and I had to write about. It was way awesome. Its not a vision like Ezekiel or anything. Just once in awhile I feel like God sends these pictures in my head to remind me of his glory and love.
My vision was of Jesus standing before me. Light shown all around him and he was wearing a white robe. I looked at him in awe. As I looked closer at him I noticed his feet and his hands. They had the scars from where the nails peirced him. His hands were rough, like that of a carpenter. What I saw the most was his feet. On the top they each had the scar from the nail. You could see a line from his sandels. His feet bore scars from cuts from walking without shoes and they were so callused. You could tell where they had dried out and cracked. His feet bore the picture of pain and suffering and servent hood. But he stood in majesty. All around him light shown. You could draw a line from where his light shown and where shadows filled areas. Then I saw myself on my knees looking up at him. His light shown on me. And I felt like he was telling me, "This is me, scars and all. I may not look perfect to most, my feet prove that. I was lowly in many eyes. I was persecuted and scorned. But I loved and I love. I was broken and weary, but I followed my father and he lifted me up. Now I am clothed in glory, just like you will be."
"Lift your eyes and look to the heavens; who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls them each by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing." -Isaiah 40:26
