Yesturday was awesome. It was so for many reasons but mainly one. I met a homeless lady when she was asking for change. I asked her what she wanted it for and she said what I thought, "I'm just trying to get a bite to eat." I hate giving out money because I hate supporting a drug addiction or something, so I asked her what she wanted from the store. She just asked for chips and some dip but I couldn't just get that for her. I went and got her a sandwhile, chips and dip and some bottled water.
When I brought it out for her she was so thankful. I didn't just want to hand it off and run though. I wanted to make a friend. So I chilled with her for awhile and kept her company. I got to talk about God with her and she was totally open. SHE then asked me to pray with her. So I did. It was awesome man! She prayed the Lord's prayer first and then I prayed for her. She was totally blessed and keep telling me thank you. When we parted she turned to me and said she loved me. Wow. And she totally meant that as a sister in God kind of love.
I felt so blessed. I had been praying to God while I was running my errands that he would send someone my way to witness to. He surely answered! I got to make someone smile today. That is one of the best things!
Okay, I'm changing topics drastically now. I had a great day at school. I meant some new people and got to hang out with a friend from highschool that I hadn't seen in about 2 years. He has totally changed his life around for Christ. In May he tried to commit suicide and was at a real low. But he found Christ during that and it changed him completely. Praise God! He is so awesome.
I have also decided to join an acting class on Mon and Wed. I am still debating dropping my New Testament class. I just hate dropping. Feels like the easy way out and I don't want to do that.
