I have some people that have been coming to me to talk about some problems.
I dont always give them advice.
I can't.
But I pray I help. I pray that my listening is a release and a relief for them. And I pray when I do say something, its not me speaking, but God.
I pray he will strengthen them.
On another note. I watched Joe Millionare tonight. Don't know what to think of it. Kind of funny, kind of sad. I couldn't be the guy. Well, haha, of course I couldn't be HIM. I mean his position though. I couldn't make up this fat lie about everything I am. He even had to lie about his middle name. Hmmm...some of the girls seem really shallow too. Some seem to have some potential. But ok, say you really don't care about the money, you really love the guy for the person you think he is. Then you find out, oh! he just lied about $50 mill! There would be some major trust issues going on in that relationship.
Theres another show coming on too. The viewers hook 2 people up and they get married. The commercial advertises that most marriages end in divorse so they couldn't do any worse! How sad is that. This world is seriously going to pots. Doesn't, "for better or worse...til death do us part," mean anything!!! Its so sad to me. There are so many broken families because of divorce and this show is shugging it off. Divorse is painful and does some serious damage on lives. But, eh! Its entertainment so why not? Sick I tell you, just sick. Why don't we show kids how to grow up and hold together a family? Show them its not easy, but it is possible. Show them what it takes to be people of integrity and honor. Why not teach our children and young people morals!!! I guess that would get bad ratings, coz morals seem to be out of style now.
I'm done with my rant. God be with us! We need it.
